This Mono Black deck thrives on control and precision, using rank manipulation to gain long-term advantage. It features powerful tools to increase or decrease ranks, giving you full control over the flow of duels and the battlefield state.

Unlike traditional strategies, this deck intentionally loses the early game to build up extreme card advantage. During this phase, you focus on disrupting your opponent’s arsenal, selectively removing key cards to limit their future plays while steadily growing your own resources.

The Assassinate keyword allows you to eliminate high-rank threats outright, and if your opponent isn’t playing high enough ranks, you can artificially boost them just to meet the condition. The Retreat keyword ensures key cards return to your hand instead of being lost, giving you a steady amount of cards to fuel your effects later.
